Miss India wins Miss Scuba International 2016

Varsha Rajkhowa of India was hailed as the 6th Miss Scuba International on November 19, 2016 held at Magellan Grand Ballroom, Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Varsha is the first representative from India in the competition. It was almost back-to-back win for the Philippines as  Angeline King, Miss Philippines, clinched the first runner-up placement.

Last year, registered nurse Cindy Madduma from the Philippines was the titleholder.

The Miss Scuba International was founded by Mr. Robert Lo in 2011. Mr. Lo is said to be a strong believer and advocate of the marine environment. Hence, he founded a beauty pageant with a mission of “Saving the Oceans through Beauty.”
