WATCH : Miss Intercontinental 2016 | Meet the Contestants

The 45th edition of Miss Intercontinental will be held for the first time in the island of Sri Lanka on October 15th, 2016. More than 60 countries will be vying to wear the coveted crown of  Miss Intercontinental at the famous Stein Studios in Colombo.

Sri Lanka formerly known as Ceylon is an tropical island in South Asia and near south-east India. The diverse and multicultural country has maritime borders with India and the Maldives. It boasts an exotic landscape as well as some of the most beautiful beaches.

The reigning Miss Intercontinental is Valentina Rasulova of Russia.
