Miss Universe Turkey 2016 is Tansu Sila Cakir

Tansu Sıla Çakır was crowned as Miss Universe Turkey 2016 during a ceremony at the Miss Turkey 2016 pageant held on September 28th, 2016.

Tansu was named first runner-up from 20 delegates participated in the beauty contest held in a five-star hotel in the southern province of Antalya’s Serik district. She will now have the oppurtunity to represent her country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2016 to be held in the Philippines next January of 2017.

The big winner of  Miss Turkey was Buse İskenderoğlu from Bursa. She will represent Turkey in the Miss World 2016 competition to take place in Washington D.C. on December 18th.

The second runner-up was Damla Figan, who was crowned Miss Turkey Supranational and will fly to Poland for the Miss Supranational 2016 finals on Dec. 2.

And the third runner-up was Çağla Çukurova, who was crowned Miss Turkey International and will travel to Tokyo, Japan to represent Turkey in the Miss International contest to be held Oct. 27th.
