Cherell Williamson is Miss Universe BAHAMAS 2016

6 footer Cherell Williamson was declared Miss Universe Bahamas 2016 in a gala event held on September 17, 2016 at the Albany Resort Aviva Beach Western in New Providence with a theme of
"Living Beautifully".

This 23-year-old make-up artist from Nassau will represent the Carribean islands in the upcoming Miss Universe 2016 next year in the Philippines.

At the same crowning event,   Chiwaun Smith placed first runner-up  while Erika Adderley, Rokara Hepburn and Crystal Stubbs were second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.

Williamson is a makeup artist, face painter and jewelry designer. She has spent 8 of her young academic years competitively in  swimming. Miss Universe Bahamas is now in new management. This was the first edition of Miss Universe Bahamas organized by new license holders Ivy League Limited under the direction of Michelle Rae Collie, Miss Bahamas 1996.
